The first name of the pageant from 1925 was created by Alien Mouradian called Dream Girl International held at the Emek Beyoğlu cinema of Istanbul, Türkiye. After Mouradian moved to the United States, he registered the pageant's copyright with the Washington DC Patent and Trademark Office and continued to organize the pageant as Miss Globe in Winnipesaukee, where Alma Cavagnaro was crowned.
